At Seva Equitable, we believe nourishment goes beyond food—it encompasses joy, connection, and moments that uplift the spirit. Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Garvin, a talented guitarist from Brooklyn, to perform for our clients at the soup kitchen.
Garvin, a graduate student at Columbia University, generously donated his time to share his music with our community. His performance infused the space with warmth and energy, creating a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.
We invited clients with a simple message:
“Join us in welcoming Garvin, a talented guitarist from Brooklyn, who will be performing here at the soup kitchen!”
And the response was filled with appreciation, smiles, and a sense of togetherness.
While we captured photos and video of Garvin’s performance, we remain committed to respecting our clients’ privacy and dignity and therefore do not share images of those we serve.
We are incredibly grateful to Garvin for using his talent to give back. Moments like these remind us that community care takes many forms—sometimes it’s as simple and powerful as sharing music.
Thank you, Garvin, for bringing your gift to our community.
