This year, Seva Equitable continued its mission of bringing joy and nourishment to the community during the holiday season. Our Christmas meal at the local soup kitchen was a resounding success, serving over 250 clients with festive dishes, essential hygiene kits, and plenty of holiday cheer.

A heartfelt thank you goes to BNY for their generous Giving Tuesday contribution, which helped make this celebration possible. Their support and donations from our incredible community of donors allowed us to source high-quality ingredients and essential items for those in need.

Our efforts included a Costco run to pick up 45 rotisserie chickens and apple pies, which became the centerpiece of our Christmas meals. Volunteers worked tirelessly to prepare and serve hearty dishes, creating an atmosphere of warmth and compassion. The addition of donated hygiene kits added an extra layer of care, ensuring our clients received a nutritious meal and essential items to support their well-being.

The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt moments as clients, volunteers, and donors came together in the season’s true spirit. The aroma of delicious food and the sight of gratitude in the eyes of our clients reaffirmed why Seva Equitable exists: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity.

Reflecting on this year’s Christmas celebration, we sincerely thank everyone who contributed to its success. Your generosity and support continue to inspire us as we work toward creating a more equitable and compassionate community. Here’s to many more moments of joy, connection, and positive impact in the year ahead!

Here are some snapshots from Christmas 2024, though no number of pictures could truly capture the incredible dedication and hard work our volunteers poured into making the day unforgettable!
